DENVER, Colo. — Chris McNealy and Luke Nelson scored 14 points each to lead the Anteaters in the nonconference game at Magness Arena in Denver Saturday afternoon.

Mamadou Ndiaye, UCI’s 7-6 freshman center, added 11 points and five blocked shots for the Anteaters, who improved to 7-6 on the season, including 4-3 on the road.

UCI shot a season-best 61.5% from the field, including 66.7% (12 of 18) in the second half.

The Anteaters return to action Saturday at Arizona State for an 11 a.m. game. The Sun Devils will be the fourth Pac-12 opponent for UCI this season.
