The Newport Aquatic Center rowers garnered great success at the Christmas Regatta hosted by Long Beach Rowing Assn. on Sunday.

The NAC boys’ team participated in an 850-meter sprint race against teams from the southwest region at the Long Beach Marine Stadium, site of the olympic rowing venue at the 1932 Olympics.

With seven wins, NAC delivered a dominant performance, a good indicator that the team could have a strong showing in the spring.
