Breakdown: The Eagles make their fifth straight trip to the CIF Southern Section Playoffs with this Southern Division first-round game ... It’s a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff clash won by the Lobos, 41-14 ... Estancia has won three straight and finished second in the Orange Coast League ... Los Amigos has won two straight and seven of its last eight and finished second in the Garden Grove League ... In its last seven wins, Los Amigos has outscored foes, 337-89 ... Coach Carl Agnew’s Lobos have scored 361 points this season more than double their opponents’ 180. They have 44 offensive touchdowns and 3,687 yards on offense ... Estancia has been outscored, 276-209, this season with 23 offensive TDs and 2,667 yards of offense ... Laurent (869 yards rushing), carried the ball in last week’s 24-14 upset of Calvary Chapel, but re-injured a sprained ankle that had sidelined him the previous two weeks ... Estancia Coach Mike Bargas said it will be a game-time decision whether to start Laurent or junior Indiana Taylor (483 yards and six TDs) at tailback ... Urquidez leads the Eagles in tackles (87), but Thomas had 14 solo stops and eight assists against Calvary Chapel ... Bargas said his team is as healthy as it has been since losing senior two-way starter Jackson Letterman to a season-ending knee injury early in the year ... Estancia’s first-round win over Magnolia in 2011, when the Eagles advanced to the Southern Division semifinals, was its first first-round playoff victory since 1980. Estancia is 1-11 in the first round since 1980 ... Los Amigos not only eliminated Estancia last season, but ousted Costa Mesa in the first round in 2011 ... Friday’s winner will likely face two-time-defending Southern Division champion Corona del Mar, this year’s unbeaten top seed in the quarterfinals.
