High School Roundup: Lowe shines for Sage Hill

ORANGE — Sage Hill sophomore Julia Lowe finished 13th in Division 3 with the second-fastest time in school history, 18 minutes, 58 seconds, Friday at Irvine Reginoal Park.

She helped the Lightning finish 10th out of 19 teams.

Brittany Andressoo was 44th in 20:00 for Sage’s second runner.

Kurisa Suhr (73rd in 21:15), Julia Dupuis (90th in 22:04) and Rebecca Fudge (94th in 22:16) also competed for Sage Hill.

BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY

OC Championships

ORANGE — Patrick Hynes finished 21st in 16:35 and led Sage Hill to a seventh-place finish out of 20 teams Friday at Irvine Regional Park.

Brian Slaughter (40th in 16:57), Calvin shimano (46th in 17:04), Alexis Michaca (51st in 17:24) and Cameron Knollenberg (70th in 17:38) also competed for the Lightning.
