Nick Bollettieri to visit The Tennis Club in Newport Beach this weekend

Nick Bollettieri, the renowned Hall of Fame tennis coach, will be at The Tennis Club at the Newport Beach Country Club Saturday and Sunday.

Bollettieri will conduct on-court clinics, provide motivational messages, tells stories about his life on the tour, answer questions and sign copies of his newest book, Bollettieri: Changing the Game.

He will provide a free clinic, which is open to the public, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., on Sunday at The Tennis Club.

He will also give private lessons Saturday morning and a free clinic to club members in the afternoon.

Bollettieri, a legendary coach, is one of the most influential people in the world of tennis. He founded the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Fla. in 1978.

He has coached 10 No. 1 players in the world, including: Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Jim Courier, Martina Hingis, Jelena Jankovic, Marcelo Rios, Monica Seles, Maria Sharapova, and Venus and Serena Williams. He also coached several other elite players.
