Marissa Anguiano’s goal dropped OCC to 6-5-1, 4-4 in conference.

Golden West is 5-4-3, 3-3-2.

LONG BEACH — Senior forward Laura McGrail converted an assist from Cami Privett in the 24th minute, but the 49ers notched the equalizer in the 67th minute of the Big West Conference match on Sunday.

UCI (4-6-3, 0-1-1 in conference) posted a 12-10 advantage in shots and received three saves from Jenn Randazzo.

UCI is home this week with conference matches against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Friday and UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.

LOS ANGELES — No. 9-ranked UC Irvine split two matches on Sunday, including an 11-10 loss to No. 10-ranked Princeton in the ninth-place game.

The Anteaters (12-5) defeated Pepperdine, 16-9, in the ninth-place semifinal.

Alan Robertson led the ‘Eaters with four goals against Pepperdine, while Lovre Milos had a team-best three goals against Princeton.
