Both practiced Thursday, Coach Wally Grant said. Both will suit up Friday and will be game-time decisions, Grant said ... The Mustangs have played well at times in their past two games, but suffered losses to teams ranked in the CIF Southern Section Southern Division ... Mesa lost to No. 3 Katella, 21-16, on Sept. 14 and No. 7 Los Amigos, 20-14, last week ... Savanna has already equaled its win total from last year, when the Rebels went 1-9 and finished last in the Orange League ... This is Costa Mesa’s fourth road game in its five nonleague games. The Mustangs’ only home game so far was the loss to Katella.
