Brendan Hack scored the game-winning goal with three seconds left to lead Corona del Mar High to an 8-7 quarterfinal win Friday at CdM.

Jon Polo provided the assist on Hack’s goal, while the score/possession was set up by a steal by Andres White.

Hack’s game-winner was a skip shot from about four meters out.

CdM center defenders Brooks and Andres White combined to shut out Quinten Osborne at center. The duo has only allowed one goal from center this season.

Will Rodosky led CdM with four goals, while Hack finished with three goals.

CdM goalie Matt Moran made 11 saves.

The Sea Kings will play against Mater Dei in a semifinal at Newport Harbor Saturday at 11:45 a.m.

Mater Dei beat Long Beach Wilson, 18-3, in its quarterfinal.
