Fullback Ronnie Urquiza finished with 21 rushes for 128 yards and one touchdown, and he threw a 25-yard halfback pass for a touchdown in the Eagles’ nonleague game at Jim Scott Stadium on Friday.

Estancia has dropped seven consecutive games to Irvine. The Eagles last beat Irvine in 1980.

The Eagles fell behind, 20-0, in the opening quarter. They rallied in the final three quarters, getting two one-yard touchdown runs from quarterback Connor Brown, a one-yard touchdown run from fullback Tyler Thomas, and a five-yard touchdown run from Urquiza.

Urquiza hit wide receiver Dalton O’Daly for the touchdown pass.

Estancia (1-2) faces another Irvine-based school next week, when it travels to University. The Eagles have lost their last eight contests to the Trojans.
