ROCHESTER, Mich. — The Anteaters posted a 25-22, 25-16, 25-11 sweep on Friday at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational at Oakland University.

Allison Lee led UC Irvine with 15 kills, hitting .433. Marisa Bubica had 12 kills.

Ella Rosenfeld had five block assists to lead UCI (8-4) to an 8-5 advantage in team blocks.

UC Irvine continues action at the tournament Saturday, facing Bowling Green at 7 a.m. and host Oakland at 4:30 p.m.

Orange Coast def. Southwestern

Lehua Alama-Jordan had 13 kills as the Pirates swept, 25-2, 25-17, 25-13, in the nonconference match Friday at OCC.

Danyelle Brown and Sierra Brown each had eight kills, with Sierra Brown adding six aces. Danielle Boyette dished out 26 assists.

OCC (2-0) plays at San Bernardino Valley College on Wednesday.

Senior forward Laura McGrail had a goal and an assist and Noel Baham was credited with two assists to lead the host Anteaters in the nonleague match Friday.

UCI, unbeaten in its last five games, is 4-4-1.

Oklahoma is 5-2-2.
