IRVINE — Alyaa Abdulghany shot three-under-par 33 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the nonleague match at Strawberry Farms Tuesday.

Gabby Finear (39), Lauren Nakamura (42), Sarah Reynoso (48) and Sophie Song (57) also scored for CdM.

SEAL BEACH — Grace Farrell shot two-over-par 38 to earn medalist honors for the Sailors in their Sunset League opener Tuesday at Old Ranch

Tehya Corona (42), Madison Fernandez (48), Teyanna Herrera (52) and Hannah Knapp (57) also scored for Newport Harbor (4-1, 1-0 in league).

Sage Hill 13, Mater Dei 5

Jaclyn Gerschultz swept at No. 1 singles for the Lightning in Tuesday’s nonleague match at The Tennis Club Newport Beach.

Connie Yu and Maya Byrd, as well as Abby Ruck and Isabella Deckey, also swept for the Lightning (2-2).

Sage Hill plays host to Woodbridge on Thursday.

Costa Mesa def. Savanna

Kiersten Gyorgy had 10 kills and 20 digs for the Mustangs in their 26-24, 22-25, 25-18, 25-23 nonleague win Tuesday at Costa Mesa.

Cat Kricorian had eight kills and 15 digs, Natalie Tetreault had nine kills and Kintak Keju 30 assists for Costa Mesa (2-0).
