Breakdown: The Lightning are hoping to bounce back from a 42-7 season-opening loss to Calvary Chapel in which they had minus-six yards rushing and twice failed to score when inside the Calvary 10-yard line ... Fairmont Prep, coached by former Corona del Mar High offensive coordinator Fred Romo, opened its season with a 43-0 romp against Maya Angelou High of Los Angeles ... Gines was thoroughly productive in his varsity debut last week ... Wiggins went 80 yards with a kickoff return to score in the opener ... McCord had completions of 65, 47 and 32 yards in the opener, including a 47-yard scoring toss on a flea-flicker ... McCord used six receivers to accumulate his 234 aerial yards, 173 of which came before halftime ... Sage Interim Coach Tom Kirchmeyer said Kim, a senior two-way starter, provided leadership to his younger teammates in the opener ...
