The U.S. women's senior national water polo team, which features Newport Harbor High and USC alumna Kaleigh Gilchrist, will play for gold at the FINA World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Team USA got past China, 11-4, in the semifinals on Saturday. Maggie Steffens scored four goals in the win, while Ashleigh Johnson made 11 saves for the Americans, who took a 7-0 halftime lead.

The United States, the defending World Cup champions, will play rival Australia in the final Sunday at 6:30 a.m. Pacific time. The game is a rematch of the 2010 World Cup final, won by the United States, 6-3.

Sunday morning's final is scheduled to be webcast live through FINA TV.
