Mann, Hutten on U.S. team roster

Center John Mann, a former Corona del Mar High standout, and defender Tim Hutten, a former UC Irvine All-American, are on the U.S. men’s senior national team roster for the 2013 FINA World Championships that begin on Monday in Barcelona, Spain.

Mann and Hutten are among the 13 athletes selected and two of the five returners from the team that competed at the 2012 Olympic Games.

The team competed in a Four Nations Tournament held in Belgrade, Serbia this week as a warm-up to the world championships. Team USA was set to compete against Canada, China, and Serbia.

The FINA World Championships start on Monday, when the United States will take on Croatia. The Americans will meet Canada and South Africa to close out group play.
