Boys’ Volleyball: Sage Hill’s Drobenko is a first-teamer

Sage Hill School senior middle blocker Zachary Drobenko is a first-team All-Academy League selection in boys’ volleyball for the second straight year.

Drobenko helped the Lightning (14-14, 8-4 in league) to third place in league and the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs. Sage Hill lost at La Cañada Flintridge Prep in three sets.

Sage Hill senior Matthew Chen and freshman Logan Senn earned second-team spots, while sophomore Parker Warden was an honorable mention.

St. Margaret’s senior Matthew Nicholas was the Academy League MVP.
