Vanguard women’s tennis falls in second round

MOBILE, Ala. — The No. 8-seeded Lions were the only team among the top eight seeds not to advance to the quaretrfinals, falling in the second round of the NAIA Tournament on Wednesday at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Florida-bases Seahawks won two of three doubles sets and split six singles sets to prevail.

Vanguard, which received a first-round bye, completes it season 16-9.
