Cody Nulph and Tommy Bell both went two for four with two runs batted in for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Tuesday.

Starter Jacob Hill struck out four and allowed one hit, one run, four hits and four walks in eight innings to improve to 8-0.

OCC is 21-7, 9-5 in conference.

Doubleheader

Vanguard spilt with No. 1-ranked Concordia in Golden State Athletic Conference action Tuesday.

The Lions won the first game, 3-1, behind the pitching of Rachel Stalford, who held the Eagles to three hits.

Concordia won the second game, 9-2.
