Corona del Mar High seniors Ashton Jajonie and Jack Rodosky have both committed to UC Santa Barbara for water polo, CdM Coach Barry O’Dea said.

CdM polo senior Garrett Spruth has committed to Pepperdine for water polo, his mother Susan confirmed in an email.

The trio were all key players in helping CdM (24-6) win the outright league title and advance to the CIF Southern Section Division 1 semifinals last fall.

Jajonie, a co-captain, led CdM with 69 goals and 53 steals, and was third on the team with 32 assists. He was a Newport-Mesa Dream Team selection along with Spruth, who was third on the team with 49 goals and had 20 assists and 28 steals. Both were first-team All-Pacific Coast League selections.

Rodosky was a leader on defense for CdM, which now has four Division 1-bound players with Newport-Mesa Player of the Year Jack Trush headed to UC Irvine.
