Briefs: Hockey for high schoolers registration available

The Anaheim Ducks High School hockey league and the Newport Mesa Ice Kings High School Hockey program are getting ready to start their Spring Select League.

Those interested in playing high school hockey for their school can sign up now (Corona del Mar, Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach and Newport Harbor High Schools).

The registration deadline is March 16.

Current eighth-graders are eligible to play.

Tickets on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming FINA Men’s Intercontinental Tournament, set for March 30 through April 4 at Corona del Mar High.

The USA men’s national team will serve as host welcoming Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, and Kazakhstan for six days of competition in an event serving as a qualifier for the 2015 FINA World League Super Final.

Tickets start at $25 for single-day access to group play with all-tournament passes also available.

USA Water Polo members will receive 15% off tickets by entering in their membership number at checkout.
