IRVINE — Marina Coskinas scored six goals as CdM finished off an undefeated Pacific Coast League season Thursday on the road.

Sarah Lawson had three goals for the Sea Kings, and Jaleh Moadelli and Kampbell Gritsch dished our four assists each.

CdM, ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division 1, awaits the release of the CIF playoff brackets Sunday morning.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Corona del Mar 54, Northwood 36

IRVINE – Kelly Tam scored 12 points to lead the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League finale Thursday at Northwood.

Keaton Gaughan added 11 points and Natalia Bruening finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds for CdM (18-8, 6-4 in league), which finished third in league to qualify for the CIF Southern Section Division 3AA playoffs.

Playoff pairings will be announced Sunday.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Marina 62, Newport Harbor 59

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Nic Sargeant scored 23 points to lead the Sailors in the Sunset League game Thursday night at Marina.

Joey Faris added 17 points for Newport Harbor (14-13, 5-5 in league), which finished third in the Sunset League.

The Sailors will now await for the playoffs pairings in CIF Southern Section Division 2AA that will be released Sunday.

Estancia 58, Calvary Chapel 39

SANTA ANA — Josh Mendoza scored 30 points, including five three-pointers, for Estancia in the Orange Coast League finale Thursday at Calvary Chapel.

Caena McReynolds added nine points for Estancia (9-17, 3-6 in league), which will petition for an at-large berth into the CIF playoffs.
