Beckman 43, Corona del Mar 42

IRVINE — Senior guard Blake Flamson finished with 15 points, but Tuesday’s upset puts the Sea Kings, ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division 3AA poll, in a three-way tie for first place in the Pacific Coast League with Woodbridge and Northwood.

CdM (18-6, 7-2 in league) closes out league play at defending league champion Northwood (16-9, 7-2) on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Sea Kings have to win for any chance to claim their first league title since the 2010-11 season.
