Corona del Mar High senior setter Kelsey Humphreys and sophomore outside hitter Hayley Hodson, and Sage Hill School senior outside hitter Maggie Danner and sophomore opposite Kekai Whitford each received All-CIF Southern Section honors in their respective divisions in girls' volleyball.
Humphreys and Hodson each made it in Division 1-AA. The two led the Sea Kings to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Division 1-AA playoffs.
Danner and Whitford earned spots on the Division 3-A team after Sage Hill advanced to the Division 3-A final, the program's second straight section final appearance.
Humphreys, a two-time All-CIF selection, amassed 888 assists. She earned the All-Pacific Coast League MVP and made the all-tournament teams at the Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas and the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions.
Humphreys is bound for Stanford.
Hodson, a first-team All-Pacific Coast League pick, recorded 453 kills in 995 attempts. She had a .335 hitting percentage.
Hodson earned all-tournament status at the Durango Fall Classic and the Torrey Pines Asics California Challenge in San Diego.
The Sea Kings finished 28-7, 10-0 in league.
Danner and Whitford performed well down the stretch, setting up a Sage Hill and St. Margaret's section title match for the second consecutive season.
Sage Hill got the best of St. Margaret's in the Division 4-AA final in 2011. The two rival schools went the distance again, but St. Margaret's claimed the Division 3-A title this year.
Danner finished with 23 kills, 10 digs, three blocks and three services aces in the section championship.
Danner earned first-team All-Academy League honors and Whitford made the second team after Sage Hill (21-6, 7-3 in league) finished second in league.
Danner is heading to Amherst College in Massachusetts.
Los Angeles Marymount's Kaity Edwards was the Division 1-AA Player of the Year, and St. Margaret's Ashley Torok was the Division 3-A Player of the Year.
