CORONA DEL MAR — Senior shooting guard Max Stone produced 17 points and two three-pointers, helping the Sea Kings improve to 2-0 in their first annual Beach Bash Tournament on Wednesday.

CdM (3-0) can advance to Saturday’s title game with a win against Tustin on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Blake Grable had 14 points and Drew Olson had 10 for CdM.

Ryan Griffin had seven point off the bench and hit a key three-pointer.

NEWPORT COAST — Junior guard Jack Williamson had 16 points to lead the host Lightning in the final round of pool play at the Ueberroth Hoops Classic at Sage Hill on Wednesday.

Sophomore Krishan Tarsadia had eight points for Sage (3-2), which faces Arrowhead Christian once again in Thursday’s third-place game at 5:30 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Sean Comer led the Mustangs with 13 points in the nonleague game Wednesday.

Daniel Azurin had seven points and Quinten Bell had six rebounds for Costa Mesa (1-5).

ANAHEIM — Junior Celia Duran had 31 points and five steals to pace the Eagles in pool play of the Loara tournament Wednesday at Loara High.

Freshman Maya Van Den Heever chipped in 12 points, seven assists and five steals for Estancia (4-2).

NEWPORT COAST — Senior forward Maggie Danner had nine points and 10 rebounds for the Lightning in the nonleague game Wednesday at Sage Hill.

ANAHEIM — Bela Raimondi finished with eight points in the Sailors’ first pool-play game at the Loara tournament on Wednesday.

Jennifer Lopez had six points and Cierra Haas had five for the Tars (1-4).

COSTA MESA — Ilene Umansky and Danielle Ridge scored six goals each for the Eagles in the nonleague game Wednesday.

Goalie Alexis Paul made 13 saves for Estancia (5-4), which plays host to Rancho Alamitos on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.

COSTA MESA — The host Eagles posted a 10-4 advantage on shots in the nonleague game Wednesday.

Estancia (1-0-3) has not been scored upon this season.

Leading the defense Wednesday was senior center back Christian Montillo and junior right back Marco Pineda, Coach Robert Castellano said.

Estancia goalkeepers Enrique Salazar and Danny Guerrero both played one half and had two saves apiece.
