ORANGE — Corona del Mar High’s Ashlee Powers finished second in 16 minutes, 37 seconds to help the Sea Kings take second at Irvine Regional Park Friday.

Woodbridge won with 30 points, CdM was in second with 49, followed by Northwood, which had 67.

Kristen Rivera (seventh, 17:42), Ellen Naruse (17:49), Shelby Perez (18:04) and Darcie Marshall (18:16) also scored for the Sea Kings.

The CdM girls advance to the CIF Southern Section preliminaries Nov. 12 at Mt. San Antonio College.

ORANGE — Corona del Mar High’s Blake Myers finished third in 14 minutes, 54 seconds to help the Sea Kings take third at Irvine Regional Park Friday.

Woodbridge won with 34 points, University was in second with 47 and CdM followed with 56 points.

Spencer Keith (eighth, 15:29), Teddy Parks (11th, 15:37), Jesse Mejia (16th, 15:48) and Tanner Love (18th, 15:51) also scored for the Sea Kings.

The CdM boys advance to the CIF Southern Section preliminaries Nov. 12 at Mt. San Antonio College.
