NEWPORT BEACH — Blake Bakkila swept at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, and helped the Sailors clinched the Sunset League title outright Thursday.

Christina Young and Robin Young swept at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, and CeCe Beck and Holly Hovnanian swept at No. 3 doubles for Newport Harbor (15-1, 9-0 in league).

Costa Mesa 10, Estancia 8

COSTA MESA — Jacky Dang and Lisa Vu swept at No. 1 doubles, 6-2, 6-0, 6-0, for the Mustangs in their Orange Coast League finale Thursday at Estancia.

Catherine Debbas (No. 2 singles) and Yurika Joi (No. 3 singles) won twice for Costa Mesa (6-4 in league), which finished third in league and clinched a CIF playoff spot.

CORONA DEL MAR — Grace Kennedy had 11 kills to help the Sea Kings to a 25-20, 25-5, 25-13 Pacific Coast League win that clinched the league title outright Thursday.

Britton Taylor added eight kills for CdM (23-2, 9-0 in league).

COSTA MESA — Lauren Peterson had 14 kills to help the Eagles to a 25-18, 17-25, 25-19, 20-25, 16-14 Orange Coast League win Thursday at Estancia.

Diana Guido had 15 digs for the Eagles (8-14, 4-8 in league).

NEWPORT BEACH — Cinnamon Sary had 30 kills, three digs and two aces to help the Sailors win the Sunset League match, 24-26, 25-14, 25-18, 25-14, Thursday.

Claire Castillo (five kills, two blocks), Allison Schelin (two kills, three aces), Torey Thompson (42 assists), Kasey Thompson (nine kills) and Carolyn Bockrath (eight kills) contributed for Newport Harbor (16-7, 5-4 in league).

WESTMINSTER — Sophie Evans scored two goals and had two assists for the Sailors Thursday.

Seniors Allie Pantoskey, Annie Pyle, Madison Wooters and Junior Kirsten Rohan scored one goal each.

Pacific Coast League cluster meet

IRVINE — Ashlee Powers finished second in a personal-best 16 minutes, 48 seconds to help the Corona del Mar girls take second behind Woodbridge Thursday at Mason Regional Park.

Kristen Rivera (fifth in 17:36), Ellen Naruse (12th in 18:06), Shelby Perez (17th in 18:20) and Darcie Marshall (18th in 18:25) each finished with personal records.

On the boys’ side, Blake Myers finished third in 15:03 to help the boys finish third. Spencer Keith (11th in 15:51) had a personal best, as did Teddy Parks (13th in 15:59), while Tanner Love (19th in 16:09) and Jesse Mejia (20th in 16:09) also scored.

Corona del Mar 100, Long Beach Millikan 64

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Trey Wood collected two first-place finishes in shortboard and longboard heats for the Sea Kings in Sea View League action Thursday.

Other CdM (2-0 in league) first-place heat winners included: Julia Cordes, Gianni Multari, Bobbi Hoose, Jason Crane, Kayuon Azhir (bodyboard) and Shane McGilfrey.
