It’s the first time in school history they have lost two straight games by as few as four combined points and the program’s last two-point loss was 26 years ago ... A loss would eliminate Costa Mesa from the CIF Southern Section Southern Division playoffs ... Saddleback topped Calvary Chapel, 29-28, on Friday for its first league win in 27 games, dating back to 2006 ... The Roadrunners’ three wins match the program’s total in the previous five seasons ... Saddleback has not had a touchdown pass this season ...Crenshaw and Smith are responsible for 76.3% of Mesa’s 1,432 rushing yards, while Traylor has accounted for 81% of the team’s 579 receiving yards ... Saddleback has TD runs this season of 78, 72, 67, 65 and 50 yards, while Farias has scored on a 55-yard interception return, a 54-yard punt return and a 35-yard fumble return ...
