COSTA MESA — Senior Charlie Umansky scored seven goals to pace the Eagles in the nonleague game Wednesday at Estancia.

Brody Henscheid scored three times for the Eagles (3-0) and senior goalie Conner Graham had 14 saves.

The Eagles play host to Brea Olinda today.

Estancia will compete in the Katella tournament this weekend.

Santa Ana Valley 9

SANTA ANA — Junior James Lewis scored twice in the last two minutes to break a tie and lift the Mustangs in the nonleague game Wednesday at Santa Ana Valley.

Lewis scored four goals overall for Mesa (2-3). Jamie Sacco and Wyatt Ferris scored two each and Quinn Stone, Kyle Picco and Brian Lozano also score. Mitchell Grandia had 12 saves.

Costa Mesa plays today at Magnolia.

COSTA MESA — Senior Erin O’Neil and junior Christy Brown swept at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles in Wednesday’s nonleague win.

Coach Rachel de los Santos said it was third straight match the duo had swept for Estancia (3-3).

The Eagles play today at Oxford Academy.

MISSION VIEJO – Freshman Natalie Cernius did not drop a game in No. 2 singles for the Sailors in nonleague match Wednesday.

Seniors Riley Mathies and Alex Aiello swept at the No. 3 doubles for Newport Harbor (4-1).

The Sailors play host to Mater Dei today at 3 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR —Nini Ugrelidze and Kalika Slevcove both improved to 11-0 in singles to help the Sea Kings remain undefeated after the nonleague match Wednesday.

Seniors Morgan McVey and Erica Lewis, who swept at No. 2 doubles, are 5-0 sinse entering the starting lineup.

Lynda Xepoleas won at No. 1 singles, 6-0, before being substitued out the final two sets.

Corona del Mar (4-0), ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll, will play at No. 1-ranked Campbell Hall of Valley Village.

MISSION VIEJO —Tiffany Su shot six-over-par 42 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the nonleague match at Mission Viejo Country Club Wednesday.

Kim Schmied (43), Caitlin Shinohara (46), Grace Kim (47) and Kelsey Johnston (52) also scored for Corona del Mar (3-2).

The Sea Kings return to Pacific Coast League action today against Irvine at Newport Beach Country Club.

SANTA ANA – Charlotte Skjonsby shot a four-over-par 40 to earn medlist honors for the Sailors in a nonleague match Wednesday at Santa Ana Country Club.

Alley Damser had a 51, followed by Lauren Pfefer (52), Tara Hanna (53) and Amelia Thomas (60) for Newport Harbor (0-6).

COSTA MESA – Lily McLendon finished with 24 kills for the Eagles Wednesday, but Yorba Linda won the nonleague match, 25-22, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23.

Ilene Yumansky had 27 assists for Estancia (2-2).

The Eagles will play at Alis Niguel Wednesday.
