Men’s volleyball tournament coming soon

The second annual UC Irvine International Men’s Volleyball Tournament is scheduled Oct. 5 through 10 on the UCI campus.

Teams include the Korean Air Jumbos from Korea, UPCN from Argentina, Zhejiang from China, Sada Cruzeiro from Brazil and the host Anteaters.

Weekday matches will be played at Crawford Court with Saturday and Sunday competition taking place in the Bren Events Center.

All-session and weekend passes are on sale now at the Bren Center Box Office (949) 824-5000.

All-session passes (12 matches) are $50 for adults and $25 for youth. Weekend passes (four matches) are $20 for adults and $10 for youth.

All-session passes include admission to UCI women’s volleyball matches against UC Riverside (Oct. 5) and Loyola Marymount (Oct. 8).

UCI plays Argentina on Oct. 5 at 8:30 p.m., Korea on Oct. 8 at 8:30 p.m., China on Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. and Brazil on Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.

Other festivities include a free kids clinic on Oct. 9 and a grass volleyball tournament on Oct. 10.
