The 46th annual Governor's Cup began Wednesday, with the course set up off the Balboa Pier. After the first day of round robin matches, four sailing teams are tied with five wins and one loss each. Of the local yacht clubs participating, the Balboa Yacht Club has five wins and one loss, and the Newport Harbor Yacht Club has one win and five losses.
