Dillon Nguyen won at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-1 for OCC (7-7).
Timothy Thai and Francesco Nguyen won at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-3, and Timmy Pham and Nick Do won at No. 3 doubles, 6-0, 6-0, for the Pirates.

FULLERTON — The visiting Lions, ranked No. 3 in the NAIA, improved to 16-0, 9-0 in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a commanding win on Monday at Cal State Fullerton.
Five Vanguard singles players dropped no more than two games in straight-sets wins, while Stefan Kilchhofer and Roger Muri teamed for an 8-2 triumph at No. 1 doubles.
Hope International is 3-10, 2-5.

COSTA MESA — Host Vanguard dropped two nonconference games against Menlo on Monday. Vanguard dropped the opener, 5-3, in nine innings, and lost the second game, 7-3, in seven innings.
Thomas Mobley went four for seven with one run batted in in the two games for VU (12-17), for which Ellis Whitman was three for six with three RBIs.
Nikko Tauntas went three for five with one RBI and Vanguard teammate Jason Ochart went three for seven in the two games.
Menlo is 15-13.
