The Corona del Mar High boys’ soccer team bounced back nicely from two straight losses with two consecutive wins to end the regular season.

The Sea Kings are hoping to carry that momentum into the postseason. CdM is the only Newport-Mesa area team to have a home game in the first round of the CIF playoffs. The brackets were released Monday.

The Sea Kings (11-6-6), which finished second in the Pacific Coast League, will play host to California (8-6-4) on Friday at 5 p.m. at Estancia High in a Division 3 first-round game.
