SANTA ANA — Nick Dawson scored 14 points for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Jordan Walden had all 12 of his points in the first half for Costa Mesa (17-8, 6-3 in league), which plays at Estancia Thursday at 7 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — The Sailors’ Chance Beauchamp scored 33 points and set a school record with nine three-pointers in Sunset League action Tuesday.

Newport Harbor is 2-7 in league.

CYPRESS — Sophomore guard Jack Williamson had 19 points for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday.

Sage Hill is 6-17, 2-7 in league.

CYPRESS — Zoe Kreitenberg had 22 points for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday.

Ava Soleimany added 20 points for Sage Hill (7-12, 4-5 in league).

NEWPORT BEACH — Kasey Thompson had 15 points and 17 rebounds for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Jennifer Lopez had three points and nine rebounds, Jennifer Raya had one point, four assists and two rebounds and Taylor Bower hit a three-pointer to go with one assist and one rebound.

Newport Harbor is 7-18, 0-9 in league.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Corona del Mar 10, Beckman 3

IRVINE — Morgan Stewart and Cassidy Papa had three goals each as CdM finished off a perfect Pacific Coast League season Tuesday at Beckman High.

Annie Mortimer, Ally McCormick, Pippa Saunders and Diana Murphy added single goals for CdM (24-2, 10-0 in league). Alex Musselman made 11 saves and Erica Weed had two saves.

Corona del Mar, ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Division I, plays host to Santa Margarita in its regular-season finale Friday at 4:15 p.m. Santa Margarita is ranked No. 9 in Division II.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Corona del Mar 4, Beckman 0

IRVINE — Ally Brahs, Zoe Condon, Annie Alvarado and Sydney Raguse all scored second-half goals for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday at Irvine High.

Brahs, Alvarado and Amanda Stephenson had assists for league champion CdM (19-1-2, 8-0-1 in league). Sarah Cox made two saves and Kendall Mulvaney had one for CdM, which earned its 15th shutout of the year.

CdM, ranked No. 2 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll, closes out the regular season at home against Woodbridge on Thursday.

Sage Hill 3, Oxford Academy 2

NEWPORT COAST — Kekai Whitford, Juliette Singarella and Rhanna Dabiri all scored for the Lightning in the Academy League game Tuesday at Sage Hill.

Alexa Thomas had four saves for Sage Hill (12-4-3, 6-2-1 in league).

The Lightning play host to Crean Lutheran on Thursday, a game that will determine the second-place team in league.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Sage Hill 2, Oxford Academy 1

CYPRESS — Senior striker Jack Percival tied the game late with a goal and then won it for the Lightning in the 80th minute after converting a penalty kick on Tuesday, helping Sage Hill clinch second place in the Academy League.

Sage Hill improved to 8-5-0, 7-2-0 in league.

Estancia 2, Saddleback 2

COSTA MESA — Chris Gomez and Vicente Lopez scored a goal each to help the Eagles nearly upset the Orange Coast League first-place holders.

Gomez scored the game’s first goal in the 55th minute. Saddleback responded in the 60th minute.

But Estancia went ahead in the 70th minute after Lopez scored off an assist from Carlos Moreno.

The Roadrunners tied it again in the 75th minute.

Estancia goalie Alex Plata had five saves.
