COSTA MESA — Cody Martin led the way with 17 kills and five blocks in the Pirates’ 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 nonconference win Tuesday.

Johannes Brink added 11 kills and four blocks and Connor Luckey added 10 kills for OCC (2-1). Brendan Duff dished out 37 assists, while libero Scott Enos notched six digs.

El Camino is 1-2.

The Pirates will return to action on Friday against defending state champion Long Beach City College on Friday night at 6 at OCC’s Peterson Gym.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Westmont 76, Vanguard 65

SANTA BARBARA — Chris Gorman scored 21 points for the Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday.

Taylor Kelly added 15 points and Preston Wynne had 10 points and four steals for Vanguard (15-9, 4-5 in conference).

Westmont, ranked No. 5 in the NAIA, is 20-4, 8-1.

COSTA MESA — No. 4 singles player Chad Meyer and No. 2 Andrew Pham earned wins for the Pirates in the nonconference match Tuesday.
