George Washington University junior women's water polo player Allison Peotter, a Corona del Mar High product, has earned Collegiate Water Polo Assn. All-Southern Division first-team honors for the third straight year.
Peotter is the only GW player to receive first-team honors three times. She paced the Colonials in this year's regular-season play in goals (49), assists (36), steals (47) and sprints/swim-offs won (71). As a junior, Peotter already tops GW's career list in assists, steals and swim-offs won.
George Washington (6-17) is the No. 8 seed at the CWPA Eastern Championship this weekend.
