Southcentral Alaska Faces Warm Weekend with Wind, Rain

The National Weather Service's Alaska office posted a graphic on its Facebook page Friday, showing a series of storm fronts drawn north by an "atmospheric river" of high-altitude southerly winds north of Hawaii. The fronts are expected to bring warm weather to Southcentral Alaska over the weekend, with Saturday snow becoming rain by Sunday evening.
