Orval B. Holman<br/>July 8, 1929 - October 27, 2014

Irvine, California – Orval B. Holman, 85, passed away on October 27, 2014 at Atria Golden Creek senior living in Irvine, CA.

Born and raised in Stockton, Missouri he was the son of Dwight and Ada Holman. In his early years, Orval worked in his family business farming and raising livestock.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri, Columbia with a concentration in Pre-med studies. Following graduation, Orval enlisted it the Air Force and served in the Korean War ranked as a 1st Lieutenant.

Orval then relocated to Southern California, met and married his beautiful wife Eleanor Hall while pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California.

He then spent the majority of his professional life as a Manufacturer’s Sales Representative eventually owning his own company, Holman and Huey. He lived in Newport Beach and the surrounding areas for over 50 years.

Orval is predeceased by Eleanor Hall Holman, his wife of 40 years in addition to his older brother Oliver Holman and his younger sister Dorothy Peluso.

He is survived by son Peter Hall Holman and daughter Mary Kay Holman-Romero.

Orval was a prominent member of the Southern California community and had memberships with the Jonathan Club, Exchange Club of Newport Beach, Newport Beach Country Club and the Balboa Bay Club.
