A two-car collision in Costa Mesa on Thursday left both drivers with minor injuries, police said.

About 9:30 a.m., a silver Toyota Corolla was pulling out of the Boatyard & Storage, 1672 Placentia Ave., when it hit a black Porsche Cayenne SUV traveling northbound along Placentia toward West 17th Street, on-scene authorities said.

The Porsche also hit a tree along Placentia between West 17th and West 16th streets. The area was closed off for more than an hour.
