Ring of Lights keeps Newport Harbor aglow

Share

If you haven’t made it to Newport Harbor yet to check out the elaborate holiday light displays, you still have plenty of time.

Though the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade ended its five-night run on Sunday, the Ring of Lights, during which bayside homes and businesses are decorated for an annual competition, continues nightly through Jan. 4. You can see the sights on your own or take a cruise for about $30.

The Commodores Club, a division of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce that presents the boat parade and Ring of Lights, has announced the award winners in both contests, as judged by club members. An awards dinner is set for Jan. 16.
