Holiday closures in Newport, Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa and Newport Beach city halls will be closed from Christmas until the new year.

Costa Mesa’s, at 77 Fair Drive, is closed through Jan. 2, as are the Balearic Community Center and downtown aquatics center.

The senior center and Downtown Recreation Center will also be closed during that period, except for Dec. 29 and 30.

City police and fire personnel will maintain their regular duties.

Newport Beach City Hall, at 100 Civic Center Drive, is closed until Jan. 2. City police, fire and marine personnel will continue their regular duties.

No trash will be collected on Thursday or New Year’s Day in Newport Beach. Trash regularly collected on those days will be picked up one day later. There will be no street sweeping on Thursday, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.
