Costa Mesa City Hall is gearing up to become “Snoopy Hall” this holiday season and is looking for volunteers to help with the “Peanuts”-themed displays.

The 48th annual Snoopy House, hosted by City Hall since 2011, will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 12-23.

City officials are asking for volunteers to help with painting and other touch-ups from 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 22 and 29.

Volunteers also are sought to work food and beverage booths throughout the 12-night run, as well as do entertainment acts in 30-minute time slots. Nonprofit youth groups can set up fundraising booths during the run.

If interested in volunteering, contact Jennifer Christ at (714) 754-5347 or email jennifer.christ@costamesaca.gov.

The Snoopy House attracts an estimated 80,000 visitors annually. Until moving to City Hall, it was displayed at an Eastside home for about four decades.
