Former Girl Scouts to be honored
Six former Orange County Girl Scouts will be recognized at the group’s fourth annual leadership event Friday in Newport Beach.
Those being honored are Shannon Eusey, of Newport Beach; Joan Patronite Kelly and Donna Giordano, both of Huntington Beach; Ashleigh Aitken, of Anaheim Hills; Ingrid Otero-Smart, of Capistrano Beach; and Laila Pence, of Tustin.
The event will host more than 400 of Orange County’s community and business leaders to raise money to support the Girl Scouts of Orange County’s leadership development programs, according to a news release.
“Funds raised at the event also provide the necessary resources to serve more Orange County girls through the nation’s most successful leadership values and skills development program for girls,” the release said.
A reception and silent auction will be held at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach.
