Here’s what $13.25 million buys in Newport Coast

The infinity pool is just feet from the hot tub. The wine cellar holds up to 1,000 bottles. And the underground garage can fit eight cars.

But the best feature of all at a recently sold Newport Coast home? It has an ocean view that stretches not 90, not 180, but 270 degrees, according to Jeff Gibson, spokesman for the luxury division of First Team Real Estate.

The 9,632-square-foot property at 10 Channel Vista sold for $13.25 million, or $1,376 per square foot.

MLS data show that only two other homes priced above $12 million have been sold in Newport Coast this year, real estate expert Steven Thomas said. Thirteen others above $12 million were on the market there last month, he said.

The Channel Vista home was listed in December at just under $14 million, according to the First Team online listing.

The sale of the six-bedroom estate was an all-cash deal between private parties, Gibson said.
