Bark Park to close temporarily

Costa Mesa officials are temporarily closing the Bark Park next week for maintenance. The 2-acre, off-leash dog park at 890 Arlington Drive will be closed from Sept. 1 to 3 for various cleanup and improvements, said city spokesman Tony Dodero.

City officials are preparing a larger Bark Park capital improvement plan for the City Council to consider in October.

That plan may include new turf and other enhancements, Dodero said.
