Costa Mesa police arrested two men who they say smoked heroin in a Chuck E. Cheese’s bathroom Tuesday night.

Officers arrived at the kids’ arcade and pizza parlor in the 2300 block of Harbor Boulevard around 7 p.m. after someone called them with a suspicion that someone was using drugs.

When they went into the restroom, police saw two sets of feet in the same stall and then looked over the wall from an adjacent toilet to see the men smoking, according to an officer with knowledge of the incident.

Officers arrested the men, who were both high, according to a news release from the Costa Mesa Police Assn.

Daniel Lubach, 27, of Costa Mesa, was booked in Costa Mesa Jail on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was later released on $1,000 bail.

Collin Zborowski, 28, of Costa Mesa, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor drug charges.

He is being held in Orange County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Police said they weren’t able to determine if either of the men was selling the heroin at Chuck E. Cheese’s, but a department spokesman said neither had kids with them and they seemed to be isolated from the other customers.
