Fundraiser at pizza store brings in the dough

Sgt. Pepperoni’s Pizza Store in Newport Beach held a fundraiser last week for Marc Kaiser, who is hospitalized with hydrocephalus, which has caused multiple infections. Operators of the business said 20% of all dine-in and take-out orders from 4 p.m. to close June 18 were given to Marc’s wife, Ann. Additionally, they said, the eatery had a donation box that totaled almost $7,000. The Kaisers have 7-year-old triplet boys. To donate, visit gofundme.com/kaiser5.
