2 teens rescued from overturned car near UC Irvine

Paramedics rescued two teenagers after their car overturned near UC Irvine on Wednesday night, according to an Orange County Fire Authority official.

Crews responded about 9:45 p.m. after the car veered off the road near Turtle Ridge and Bonita Canyon drives in Irvine, Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi said.

Rescuers freed the teens and took them to a trauma center in Santa Ana. Both were in moderate condition Wednesday night, Concialdi said.
