Behind on property taxes?

Share

Orange County residents who are five or more years behind on their property taxes must start a payment plan by June 30 or risk their property being auctioned off, county officials said Wednesday.

If property owners don’t start a five-year payment plan or aren’t in good standing on their plans, they must pay all of their outstanding taxes and penalties before the next tax auction, according to a news release from the county treasurer-tax collector’s office.

A list of affected properties has been published in local publications and online at ttc.ocgov.com/proptax/pta/defaulted.

Property owners can look up addresses at ocgov.com/octaxbill. There, they can also download a change of address form.
