Yachters wheel into boating season

The Balboa Yacht Club celebrated the opening of the 2015 boating season with a party Saturday at its marina on Bayside Drive in Corona del Mar.

The club, which dates to 1922, offered an open house, live music, a barbecue, children’s activities and more.

Just down Bayside Drive, the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, founded in 1958, also marked opening day over the weekend.
