Public prayers: In the May 9 story “Costa Mesa to revisit public prayer policy,” it should not have stated that Allan Mansoor was Costa Mesa’s mayor in 2004. He was a councilman at that time.

Law firm lawsuit: The May 9 story “Lawsuit says firm hired P.I. who tailed officials,” incorrectly stated it was a board member of the Peace Officers Research Assn. of California’s Legal Defense to whom partners of the law firm Lackie, Dammeier, McGill & Ethir allegedly admitted hiring a private investigator to tail Costa Mesa City Councilmen. The story should have stated the lawsuit in question alleges the partners admitted the act to an administrator of the fund.
