Man stabbed in legs in Costa Mesa

Costa Mesa police are investigating a stabbing that left a man hospitalized Wednesday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report of the attack in the 2000 block of Charle Street at 9:15 p.m., according to Costa Mesa police Lt. Greg Scott.

They found a man who been stabbed multiple times in the legs, police said.

The man was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. His injuries were not life-threatening, Scott said.

Police declined to release more information about the case.
